DC Premiere of The White House Effect to Open DCEFF
Environmental Film Festival runs March 20-29, 2025

On Thursday, March 20, the Environmental Festival in the Nation's Capital (DCEFF) will open with the DC Premiere of The White House Effect, a new documentary that uses archival footage to tell the dramatic origin story of the climate crisis and how a political battle in the George H.W. Bush administration changed the course of history.
This will be followed by ten days of film screenings aimed at celebrating and inspiring action for our planet. Additional highlights will be announced in the coming weeks before the full schedule and tickets become available in late February.
Attendees can expect the featured films to explore environmental topics like climate change, conservation, sustainability, and public health, while also showcasing stunning footage of wildlife and adventure in the great outdoors.
