DC Woman Finds Live Frog In Her Salad: Report

WASHINGTON, DC -- Well, that's one way to be sure your salad is fresh: a woman in D.C. made quite a startling discovery when she found a live frog in her salad, according to a report.

NBC Washington reports that the woman bought the salad from Mediterranean restaurant chain Cava when she discovered the tiny green frog.

Naomi Stahl, who purchased the salad, told NBC Washington she got it at Cava's Tenleytown location, and noticed the live frog in her bowl after she brought it home.

Cava has apologized and says they are looking into the issue. Stahl released the frog back into the wild.
