Donald Trump Will Speak at Rolling Thunder Rally in DC: Reports

The presumptive GOP presidential nominee will address bikers on the National Mall this afternoon.

Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will speak at the annual Rolling Thunder rally on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. this afternoon, according to numerous media reports.

Trump is scheduled to appear at the Sunday afternoon rally involving thousands of motorcyclists, who will depart the Pentagon, cross the Memorial Bridge and ride along the National Mall in a massive demonstration to honor fallen soldiers in past wars.

This morning, Trump tweeted: "Honor Memorial Day by thinking of and respecting all of the great men and women that gave their lives for us and our country! We love them."

Trump will make his remarks at the Lincoln Memorial at 2:30 p.m., according to a statement from the campaign.

Despite Trump's denigrating comments about Vietnam War prisoner of war Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) last year, and the fact that he is an alleged draft-dodger himself, the Rolling Thunder officially supports Trump, according to a Washington Post report.
