Donuts Near Nats Park: Police Seek Navy Yard Reckless Drivers
D.C. police are seeking the public's assistance in finding the people who were driving recklessly in the Navy Yard last Saturday night.
WASHINGTON, DC — The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in finding the people who were driving recklessly in the Navy Yard last Saturday night.
The cars were seen driving donuts at the intersection of 4th and Tingey Street, SE around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, only blocks from Nationals Park, where a triple-shooting had occurred two hours earlier.
A maroon Dodge Charger, a blue Dodge Charger, a black Dodge Charger, and a black Ford Crown Victoria were driving recklessly in circles around people standing in the intersection, the MPD said in a news release Wednesday.

People could be seen hanging out of the windows of the cars doing donuts. Several other people were standing around the intersection watching the reckless driving.
The cars then fled the scene, according to D.C. police.
