Dr. Jerome Hauer Joins Brian Bill Foundation Board of Trustees
Dr. Hauer, of Washington, D.C., will join the foundation in its efforts to provide therapeutic support to U.S. Special Operations warriors.

Jerome Hauer, Ph.D, M.H.S., of Washington, D.C., has joined the Brian Bill Foundation Board of Trustees. The Brian Bill Foundation is a St. Petersburg-based nonprofit that provides therapeutic support to active-duty and retired U.S. Special Operations warriors.
Dr. Hauer is a senior advisor for Teneo Risk Advisors and a leading expert in emergency response, emergency management and crisis planning. Prior to joining Teneo, Hauer served as Commissioner of the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services, as well as the Director of the Office of Counterterrorism for the State of New York. He was Director of the Office of Public Health Preparedness, and Senior Advisor to the Secretary for National Security and Emergency Management during and after the events of September 11, 2001.
The Brian Bill Foundation’s Warrior Healing Retreats provide Special Operators and their spouses with access to Equine Assisted Learning, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, yoga, breathing, meditation, iRest and nutrition, free of cost. It is the only program in the country to offer all of these therapeutic modalities in an overnight four-day retreat format. The Warrior Healing Program is endorsed by the U.S. Special Operations Command’s “Care Coalition.”
