Have you thought about doing something different this new year? New year, new me kind of thing. Why not? Be creatively open minded to new opportunities coming your way, and new ways to learn and grow creatively this year. Taking an art class is one of the ways to help you become not only happier but healthier as well especially creatively with many benefits to your's brain's well being.

Studies inform us that engaging in an art activity such as drawing and painting helps one's mind in staying healthy and growing creatively. Creating artwork by carefully observing a still life helps your mind in matters such as problem solving and relational space matters along with proportional perspective. Drawing and painting not only opens up your mind to new ways of looking at things but gives one a new perspective on matters be it visual, analytical and methodical. Art rewards are uplifting and positive to one's spirit. Engaging yourself in an art class does not only make you create new works of art, but also it is a road to self discovery. For me, art is all about self expression and capturing what my eyes observe and bringing that to the world through my own vision. I consider myself much like Leonardo da Vinci an observationalist artist. Thus, the creation process introduces one to a very deep sense of self understanding.

My classes range for all levels from beginners to intermediate and advanced students. The classes introduce and guide the students step by step to the most basic yet elemental elements needed in a fine art course to become a skilled artist.
