Fairfax Nursing Home Celebrates Mardi Gras with Indoor 'Parade'

Nursing home residents at the Fairfax Rehab. and Nursing Center celebrated Mardi Gras with an indoor parade with floats, music and more!

The Mardi Gras parade made its way to Fairfax! On Wed. 2/17, staff at the Fairfax Rehabilitation and Nursing Center decorated their service carts like parade floats for residents to enjoy a fun, indoor Mardi Gras parade.

The activities director and staff paraded through each floor for a fun celebration- there were smiles on everyone's faces as residents danced along to music and showed off their beads and Mardi Gras masks. It was a great day for residents and staff alike to enjoy themselves during a creative and safe celebration.
