FBI Offers $50K Reward In Hunt For DC Pipe Bomber

WASHINGTON, DC — The FBI is asking the public's help in identifying anyone involved in instigating the civil arrest that occurred Wednesday in Washington, D.C. In particular, they are offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual who placed pipe bombs at two D.C. locations.

Multiple police agencies responded around 1 p.m. for reports of a suspected bomb with wires at Republican National Committee (RNC) headquarters at 310 First St., S.W. About 15 minutes later, a second pipe bomb with similar descriptors was reported at Democratic National Committee headquarters at 430 South Capitol St.

Anyone with information about these two incidents or the identity of the individual in the photo is asked to call the FBI's toll-free tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324), or submit tips online at fbi.gov/USCapitol. Tipsters may also contact their local FBI office or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate.

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of anyone responsible for a violent crime in the District. Anyone with information about these incidents or the identity of the individuals in the photos is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or text a tip to 50411.
