Guns Fired On M Street; Police Seek Suspects In Tuesday Shooting
D.C. Police are seeking the public's help in identifying suspects and a vehicle involved in a Tuesday morning shooting incident on M Street.
WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the First District are asking for the public's helping in identifying suspects and a vehicle in connection with an assault with a dangerous weapon (gun) offense that took place Tuesday morning on M Street, Northwest, according to a police release.
On Tuesday, Feb. 25, around 12:19 a.m., police say a suspect in a vehicle fired a gun at victims in the Unit block of M Street, N.W. Other suspects returned fire, according to police. All suspects fled the scene. One adult male victim was hit by the gunfire and taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
MPD released surveillance images of the suspects and the vehicle they say were involved with the exchange of gunfire.
