Washington DC, January 22

PETE HEGSETH, Trump’s Senate-approved Defense Secretary, plans to start immediately at The Pentagon, HQ of the U.S. Military ("DoD"), to “clean up" long-attributed, unchecked waste dumping, taxpayer-dollar abuses, performance frauds and in-house personnel corruption. He plans to work alongside HHS Secretary nominee ROBERT F. KENNEDY Jr. (waiting for final Senate approval by January's end) to achieve longtime, public supported goals resisted for decades by 1000s of multi Trillion, tax dollar-paid career officials and several criminally-convicted private contractors. This exclusive information comes from Steve Spacek, Director of the American State Litter Scorecard (litterscorecard.com) and a Washington D.C.-based Public Performance Specialist.

Hegseth and Kennedy wrote to Spacek recently, telling him the Defense operational mantras they will be adopting will be known as "#MakeThePentagonCleanAgain" and "DrainPentagonSwamp." Spacek then notified Kennedy and Hegspeth that he would let the public know of their intents to serve the American public in these capacities through press platforms, such as this story.

In 2003 Kennedy wrote a CHICAGO TRIBUNE article, where he asserted then (and reaffirms now) that the U.S. Military is the "American Governments Biggest and Most Offending Polluter."

For years, according to credible media reporting, the DoD has resisted binding "final orders" from the Environmental Protection Agency to clean up military bases where toxic chemicals pose "imminent and substantial" dangers to public health. They included Fort Meade in Maryland, Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida and McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey. The EPA also accused Defense for allowing citizens in American communities to drink water with "forever chemicals" content levels far higher than EPA limits allow. Furthermore, according to Government Accountability Office reports, Defense has acknowledged to the EPA contamination by military munitions of an estimated 15 million acres of land and water, public and private.

The U. S. Military, consuming more than half of all Federal Budgetary spending funded by The American People's Tax Dollars, is the only agency consistently unable to pass an independent audit, despite the fact all other Federal agencies have been required to conduct annual audits
since 1990, asserts Iowa Republican Senator Charles Grassley.

Since 2008, Spacek's American State Litter Scorecard has reported on the "Who's, What's, Where's, Why's" of Waste Littering and Dumping caused by citizens and allowed by governments. Over 800 persons continue to die annually across the USA (roughly 3 per day) from incidents attributed to littering and dumping. In recent years Spacek has reported on America’s “Ten Most Waste Litter Polluted States” and “15 Biggest Most Waste Litter Polluted Cities," noted for widespread waste capable of breeding Covid during the 2020-2021 Pandemic.
