Knife Assault In Mount Pleasant; DC Police Arrest Suspect

WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives arrested a suspect in connection with a Tuesday afternoon knife assault in Mount Pleasant, according to a police release.

Around 4:48 p.m., the victim and the suspect were involved in a dispute in the 3100 block of Mount Pleasant Street, N.W., when the suspect threatened the victim with a knife. MPD officers responding to the scene of the dispute took the suspect into custody.

MPD arrested Antonni Flores-Diaz, 36, of Northwest, and charged him with assault with a dangerous weapon (knife).
