Highlights From Washington Capitals Victory Parade

The Washington Capitals are the 2018 Stanley Cup champions, and their victory parade on the National Mall Tuesday was amazing.

WASHINGTON, DC — The day of the Washington Capitals victory parade is here, and Caps fans are ready.

Three hours before the parade’s 11 a.m. start, there are thousands of red-clad fans on the National Mall to witness the march of the Caps, who are the 2018 Stanley Cup champions after defeating the Las Vegas Golden Knights 4 games to 1 in the Finals last week.

It is certainly a bizarre atmosphere for a Tuesday morning in June in the nation’s capital when Congress is usually in recess. Honking car horns, red jerseys everywhere, and a general buzz in the atmosphere give the District a festive vibe today. Stay tuned to this feed for updates throughout the day as Caps fans celebrate the historic win.
