Man Charged In Fort Dupont Sexual Assault: DC Police

WASHINGTON, DC — Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division, Sexual Assault Unit of the Metropolitan Police Department arrested a suspect in connection with an assault and attempted sexual assault that took place Friday night in Fort Dupont, according to a police release.

Around 9:30 p.m., the victim was approached by the suspect in the unit block of Ridge Road, S.E., where he attempted to sexually assault her. When the suspect tried the flee, he was appended by responding officers from the Sixth District.

Police arrested Antone Danelle Peach, 45, of no fixed address, and charged him with assault with intent to commit first-degree sexual abuse.
