Massive 2-Hour Wait Time Reported at Polling Location in DC

Polls around the area -- and across the country -- have featured long lines from the moment polls opened.

WASHINGTON, DC — Voters are flocking to the polls in D.C., and for one polling station near downtown, it's resulting in a wait time in excess of two hours, according to one report.

ABC 7's Sam Sweeney tweeted a video showing the huge line, which stretched down M Street near the intersection with 16th Street at AME Church.

D.C. isn't the only place to struggle with long lines in the area, with major lines reported in Arlington and Reston, as well as around the country. Absentee balloting in the area also showed huge increases over the 2012 election even before polls opened.
