Multiple Arrests Made In Separate Washington, DC Robberies
Here is a list of people recently arrested throughout Washington, DC and charged with robbery.
WASHINGTON, DC - The Metropolitan Police Department recently announced multiple arrests in separate robberies. The arrests were made between Dec. 6 through Dec. 13. The details are below. Remember, all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Third District:
- On Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, police arrested and charged Samuel Marrow, 42, of northwest DC for an armed robbery that occurred on Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, in the 1400 block of Clifton Street. Around 1:10 a.m., police said Marrow and another suspect along with the victim were involved in a verbal altercation. Police said the suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. During the assault, one of the suspects pulled out a gun, police said. The suspects then fled the scene. On Saturday, Oct.5, 2019, a 38-year-old adult man from Temple Hills, MD was arrested and charged with armed robbery. This case remains under investigation.
- On Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019, police said 18-year-old Destiny Burton, and on Monday, Dec. 9, 2019, a 14-year-old juvenile male, both of northwest DC, were arrested for an armed robbery that occurred on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019, in the 1300 block of Monroe Street, Northwest. Around 12:34 p.m., police said the suspects approached the victim. One of the suspects pulled out a knife, police said. The suspects then assaulted the victim, took the victim’s property, and fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.
- On Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019, 18-year-old Gino Williams, of northwest DC and a 17-year-old juvenile male, of Beltsville, MD were arrested for a robbery that occurred on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019, in the 1600 block of New Jersey Avenue NW. Around 5:56 p.m., police said the suspects approached the victim. One of the suspects snatched the victim’s property, and the suspects then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.
- On Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, a 15-year-old juvenile male, of northwest DC was arrested for an assault with intent to commit robbery that occurred on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, in the 400 block of Florida Avenue NW. At approximately 6:32 p.m., the suspects approached the victim, police said. According to authorities, the suspects assaulted the victim and attempted to take his property then fled the scene. One of the suspects was apprehended by responding officers. This case remains under investigation.

- On Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, police said a 12-year-old juvenile female, of northwest DC, was arrested for a robbery that occurred on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, in the 4200 block of Kansas Avenue NW. At approximately 4:11 p.m., the girl and other suspects approached the victim assaulted the victim and took their property, police said. The suspects then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.
- On Monday, Dec. 9, 2019, 18-year-old Regina Christmas, of Northwest, DC, was arrested for a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, in the 700 block of Varnum Street NW. Around 4:06 p.m., police said the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. According to authorities, the suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.
- On Friday, Dec. 13, 2019, a 15-year-old juvenile male, and a 16-year-old juvenile male, both of northwest DC were arrested for a robbery that occurred on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, in the 5900 block of Georgia Avenue NW. Around 2:30 p.m., police said the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects snatched the victim’s property then fled the scene. This case remains under investigation.
Fifth District:
- On Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019, a 12-year-old juvenile male, of southeast DC, was arrested for an assault with intent to rob that occurred on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019, in the 2500 block of Benning Road NE. Around 5:06 p.m., police said the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. According to authorities, the suspects assaulted the victim and attempted to take property. The suspects then fled the scene. No property was obtained. This case remains under investigation.

- On Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, a 16-year-old juvenile male, of southeast DC, was arrested for an armed carjacking that occurred on Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019, in the 200 block of 36th Street NE. Around 12:18 a.m., police said the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. According to authorities, the suspects pulled out a handgun and demanded property. The victim complied. The suspects then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. This case remains under investigation.
