Homegrown Mistakes
Miscues plagued Chicago during its two-game homestand in this year's NLDS. The Cubs committed four errors Monday but still were able to pull out a scrappy win in Game 3.
They weren't so lucky in Game 4. Chicago collected two errors Wednesday, the biggest being a shortstop Addison Russell's mishandling of a grounder by first baseman Ryan Zimmerman that led to the Nationals' first run.
Before the series moved to Wrigley Field, the Cubs had only committed one error in the NLDS.
South D.C. is going to be a madhouse Thursday night
Game 5 is certainly going to pack South D.C. with people, as more than 40,000 people will flood into Nats Park to watch the game -- and then flood right back out when the game over, especially since Metro will close before the game is over. But did you know that The Wharf D.C. is holding their grand opening tonight just a few blocks away? And that Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters are playing to a sold-out crowd during that event?
So if you're planning on going to the game, expect to have a lot of trouble getting home.
