Paintball Wars Erupt In DC Neighborhood (Video)

Video has emerged of a large-scale paintball battle in one Southeast D.C. neighborhood, and not everything think it's all in good fun.

WASHINGTON, DC — Video of a paintball battle involving dozens of people in Southeast D.C. is sparking a debate on whether it's good old-fashioned fun or illegal and dangerous, according to a report. The video is embedded at the bottom of this post.

Fox 5 reports that the video shows a paintball battle in an area near Benning Terrace, with some people running around on the ground, others firing out of cars, and still others firing from rooftops.

Some of the neighbors Fox 5 spoke to said they didn't have a problem with it and thought it was just good fun.

However, air rifles are against the law in D.C., and local leaders reportedly say people are getting hurt -- paintballs can do plenty of damage, after all.
