Redskins Player Arrested After Fight in Mississippi: Report

Linebacker Junior Galette is accused of getting into a fight and then fleeing from a police officer, according to a report.

Washington Redskins linebacker Junior Galette faces criminal charges after he allegedly got into a fight over the weekend in Mississippi.

Galette, who is 29, is accused of striking another man during an altercation at a spring break event at MGM Park on Friday night in Biloxi, according to a report from the Associated Press. Galette faces charges of disorderly conduct and failure to comply.

Galette fled on foot after an officer who witnessed the fight confronted him, prompting the officer to use a stun gun to stop him and take him into custody, the report states.

If you aren't familiar with Galette as a Redskin, it's because he's missed the past two seasons because of injuries to his Achilles tendon.

Galette has been arrested before: he was booked in 2015 after an alleged domestic dispute, although the charges were later dropped, according to the AP report. He was also suspended two games by the NFL for allegedly violating the league's personal conduct policy.
