School for International Training Partners Rank High in Study Abroad

SIT Congratulates Partners That Magazine Ranked Highest for Study Abroad Programs

Experts say selecting a university as well as choosing a study abroad program is a very personal choice; that best fit requires a student to rely on metrics as well as insights from their parents, peers, alumni and others. The School for International Training says it's proud to partner with higher education institutions to offer study abroad opportunities developed around a framework of the most critical global issues of the day.

U.S. News, as it does every year, has released its “Best Colleges” rankings, which includes a study abroad category. SIT has identified its partners included in this year’s study abroad ranking. It’s based on nominations from college presidents, chief academic officers, deans of students and deans of admissions from over 1,500 schools. The magazine ranked the colleges and universities that received 10 or more nominations.

SIT believes all study abroad programs deserve and need more attention. While some say the U.S. News process may be imperfect, they believe it at least can serve as a starting point for students to consider. SIT also notes that the following partners may offer study abroad programs separate from the School for International Training and that any ranking in the study abroad category only relates to that single category.
