Southeast Man Charged In Armed Kidnapping Case: DC Police
Metropolitan Police Department detectives and the FBI charged a Southeast man Tuesday with armed kidnapping.
WASHINGTON, DC — Metropolitan Police Department detectives and members of the FBI's Violent Crime Task Force arrested a Southeast man Tuesday in connection with an armed kidnapping that took place Sept. 17, in the Washington Highlands, according to a police release.
Around 1 a.m., a man entered the victim's vehicle in the 3800 block of 9th St., S.E., brandished a handgun, and forced the victim to drive to various locations. The man took the victim's property before fleeing on foot.
Acting on a U.S. District Court arrest warrant, police arrested Kareem Davis, 19, of Southeast, and charged him with armed kidnapping.
