Southeast Man Dies In Triple Shooting Incident: Police Report
A Southeast man injured in a triple shooting that left one dead in the Barry Farm area is facing a weapons charge, according to DC police.
WASHINGTON, DC — Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department arrested a Southeast man on a weapons charge in connection with a triple shooting that took place Monday morning in the Barry Farm area, according to a police release.
Around 11 a.m., officers from the Seventh District responded to the 3000 block of Stanton Road, Southeast for the sounds of gunshots. Police found three men suffering from gunshot wounds. D.C. Fire and EMS transported the men to area hospitals for treatment. Two of the men were treated for life-threatening injuries. The third victim, who was identified as Terrence Allen 23, of Southeast, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
When police arrived on the scene of the shooting, they discovered that one of the victims was in possession of a firearm. The arrested Troy Williams, 24, of Southeast and charged him with carrying a pistol without a license.

MPD is currently offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any persons responsible for committing a homicide in the District. Police ask anyone with information about this case to call 202-727-9099 or send an anonymous tip by text to 50411.
