Suspect Sought In Double Shooting Near Catholic University
DC Police are looking for a suspect in a double shooting that took place Monday night near Catholic University
WASHINGTON, DC -- Metropolitan Police Department detectives are asking the public's help in finding a wanted suspect in connection with a double shooting that took place Monday near Catholic University, according to a police release.
Officers from the Fourth District responded Jan. 13, around 10:19 p.m., to the report of a shooting in the 300 block of Taylor Street, N.E. Arriving on the scene, they found two adult men suffering from gunshot wounds. D.C. Fire and EMS transported the men to area hospitals for treatment of life threatening injuries.
Police identified the suspect as Juan Carlos Galla Jr., 31. He is described as a black male, heavily built, 5’8”to 5’11” in height, and weighing approximately 290 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair, and a full beard. Galla is wanted on a D.C. Superior Court arrest warrant for Carrying a Pistol without a License.

Galla was seen fleeing from Monday's crime scene in a 2002 Mercedes Benz C230 with Virginia license plates of ULZ9274. Police released photos of Galla and the vehicle.
