Truer Words Are Seldom Spoken
POTUS 36 not first to highlight antagonism certain (melanemic) people would display/express with passage of 60s civil rights legislation.
Recent rulings, past and current delays, in the judicial swamp of proceedings involving a former POTUS, reveal the truth in the statements of one of his predecessors. The twice impeached former president, who I think never would have been elected except for the ignorance of those 50% or so of the eligible voters who actually cast a vote for either party or candidate, won office by "election interference" just like POTUS 43, 41, 40 and 37. Extrapolating, paraphrasing and quoting the words of another POTUS; he described the J6 insurrection participants as ignorant, non-thinking men over 150 years before the event, wrote that 'those entrusted with the law-making power could not be trusted to deal fairly with the formerly enslaved,' and "It cannot be expected that the opinions held by men at the south for years can be changed in a day, and therefore the freedmen require, for a few years, not only laws to protect them, but the fostering care of those who will give them good counsel, and on whom they rely."
The utter, almost complete corruption of the judicial system as it currently operates to protect and advance the interests of the ultra-wealthy , the elite, the corporations and those would benefit from the maintenance of a system of white privilege, white superiority and systemic discrimination, is being more fully exposed than ever before in the two-tiered justice system melanated people have grown to hate ever since the DOJ failed to pursue any enforcement of their rights following "The 1898 Wilmington Massacre." Said Wilmington, NC "Coup D'état" clearly being the template or blueprint for the J6 insurrection if you, unlike certain WAPO opinion editors, give it just a few hours of serious study instead of practicing yellow journalism. I think it has been striped of its polite professional veneer because, like smart phone cameras recording unarmed Black men being executed on the streets, the actions of corrupt justices and legislators to bend over backwards for POTUS 45 at the expense of the public at large is playing out in the media daily. Melanemic people paying full attention can now see what melanated people have known all along that, while not only misinterpreting legislation and laws clearly written and self executing, they are attempting to rescind rights the people have had for decades, and/or over a century, if/when proper and accurate interpretations of the legislation and laws are adhered to and promulgated.
The issue as I see it is not the ignorance of that not-so small portion of this nation who were tricked, deceived and bamboozled into voting for 45, on either occasion. I agree with Rachel Bitecofer that you should not blame people for the unintentional gaps in their information base. The fact is, we are all ignorant of one thing or the other depending on our interests but we should all have a certain core of information to draw upon in spite of MSM biases, in my opinion the majority of this nations (and the world's) population are ignorant concerning certain historical facts that have been deliberately obscured and hidden by the willing and unknowing tools of the so-called elite's power structure for decades. POTUS 34 tried to warn us of many of the ills facing us today in his January 1961 farewell address to the nation and whenever the complete unredacted history of the assassination of POTUS 35 is revealed we may also find the roots of pending election interference, court stacking, wars facilitated by 9/11 (and the hundreds of thousands of emails Rove 'destroyed' over 8 years) buried within its pages. POTUS 18 saw the rancor and antagonism of melanemic people having lost their life of leisure and privilege and thus was DOJ formed with the mission to provide the care, good counsel and protection the formerly enslaved required. Over the decades the agency has failed miserably and now it eats its own from the tail to the head.
