Trump Slams Nordstrom for Dropping Ivanka's Clothing Line
Nordstrom announced on Feb. 5 they would no longer sell her brand due to low sales.
WASHINGTON, DC — Donald Trump took a moment from his duties as President of the United States to slam retailer Nordstrom Wednesday morning in retaliation for dropping his daughter Ivanka Trump's label recently.
"My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom," he tweeted at 10:51 a.m. "She is a great person -- always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!"
Nordstrom announced on Sunday that they would no longer carry the First Daughter's label due to poor sales.

“We've said all along we make buying decisions based on performance," Nordstrom said in a statement to The Associated Press Feb 3. "We've got thousands of brands— more than 2,000 offered on the site alone. Reviewing their merit and making edits is part of the regular rhythm of our business."
Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry was created in 2007 as a partnership with Dynamic Diamond Corp. Her flagship boutique is located in the Trump Tower. Her brand is sold throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as in multiple Middle Eastern countries -- none of which are on the immigrant ban list.
