Trump's New Portrait Unveiled, Will Hang in White House Visitor Center

President Trump's very own oil portrait is now ready for public viewing, thanks to C-SPAN.

WASHINGTON, DC — As President Trump himself might remark, everyone is saying that this is a tremendous portrait, the best portrait that's ever been made: a new oil painting of Trump commissioned by C-SPAN is now on display at the official White House Visitor Center for the first time.

The portrait will hang there until Feb. 21, after which it will join the 43 others as part of C-SPAN's American Presidents: Life Portraits exhibit that has been touring the United States since 1999, according to a statement.

The visitor center is open from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 1450 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

American Presidents: Life Portraits has been characterized as the only complete collection of American presidential oil portraits by one artist. Painter and sculptor Chas Fagan was commissioned in 1999 by C-SPAN to make the portraits to accompany their television series of the same name.

"The complete newly redesigned exhibit, with Mr. Trump's portrait, is scheduled to visit the William McKinley Presidential Library and Museum in Canton, Ohio, February 24, 2017," the statement reads. "Accompanying the Fagan portraits are biographical sketches of all 44 presidents and first ladies. In addition to the sketches are photographs contributed by the White House Historical Association that capture each president’s time in the White House, as well as audio and video that viewers can access through their smart phones."
