WASHINGTON, DC — D.C. police found a vehicle that they believe was used in a shooting outside Nationals Park Saturday night that left three people injured, including a fan who had left the stadium, D.C. Police Chief Robert Contee said Tuesday.

The Metropolitan Police Department released photos of the gray Toyota Corolla with a missing hubcap on Sunday and offered a $10,000 reward to anyone who provided information leading to the arrest of the suspected shooters.

The car was found Monday on Water Street in Georgetown, The Washington Post reported. Contee said during a Tuesday news conference that the car's owner had loaned it to someone who failed to return it. The police are still looking for the shooting suspects who were riding in the car.

"That vehicle is being forensically analyzed, and our investigation continues," Contee said.

Two people inside an SUV were wounded, along with an Arlington woman who had left the game and was waiting for an Uber in the 1500 block of South Capitol Street SW. Police said none of the injuries were life-threatening.

"It appears the two individuals in the car were the target of the shooting," Contee told WUSA9 on Monday. "They have not been placed under arrest, but the investigation is ongoing at this time."

Saturday night's game between the Washington Nationals and the San Diego Padres was suspended around 9:30 p.m. when several gunshots were fired outside of the stadium, sending fans and players scrambling for cover.
