Video: Fatal Shooting In Takoma Park Suspects Sought

D.C. Police are seeking the public's help in identifying two suspects in connection with a July 14 fatal shooting in Takoma Park.

WASHINGTON, DC — Homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department are seeking the public's help in identifying persons of interest in connection with a July 14 fatal shooting in Takoma Park, according to a release.

Around 12:50 a.m., officers from the Fourth District were dispatched to Eastern Avenue and Walnut Street, Northwest, to assist Takoma Park Police with a traffic accident. Arriving on the scene, they located two adult men in a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. Montgomery County Fire and EMS transported the two men to a nearby hospital. One of the victims was treated for non-life threatening injuries and the other succumbed to his injuries.

Police identified the decedent as Anthony Riley, 20, of Northeast.
