Woodley Park Armed Robbery Suspect Sought By DC Police
DC Police released a photo of a suspect who is wanted in connection with the armed robbery of a Woodley Park business last November.

WASHINGTON, DC -- Metropolitan Police Department detectives from the Second District are asking the public's help in finding a suspect who is wanted in connection with an armed robbery of a Woodley Park store last November, according to a police release.
On Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019, around 1:04 a.m., the suspect entered a store in the 3000 block of Connecticut Avenue, N.W., and assaulted an employee. He then brandished a stick and demanded property. The suspect then fled the scene with the property.
MPD released a photo of Darnell Cornelius Adams, 44, in connection with this incident. Police are investigating the case as Armed Robbery of an Establishment offense.
