$2M Powerball Ticket Sold In FL: Check Your Tickets

Four people who purchased tickets for Wednesday's drawing also won $1 million, according to lottery officials.

FLORIDA — Check your Powerball tickets, Florida. One lucky person in the Sunshine State purchased a ticket for Wednesday's drawing worth $2 million.

The winning numbers in Wednesday's drawing were 7, 10, 11, 13 and 24. The Powerball was 24. According to lottery officials, the winning ticket worth $1.08 billion was sold in Los Angeles, California.

Tickets worth $2 million were sold in three states, meaning players matched all five white numbers with the Power Play option. Florida's lucky ticket was sold at a Publix store in Tallahassee, according to WFLA.

The other two $2 million tickets were sold in Pennsylvania and Rhode Island, according to Powerball's website.

Four people in Florida also talked away with $1 million after Wednesday's drawing, meaning they matched all five white numbers. Those tickets were sold at Smile Food Mart in New Port Richey, Publix in The Villages, Winn Dixie in Orange Park, and Amoco in Vero Beach, according to WFLA.

Following Wednesday's drawing, the Powerball jackpot returns to $20 million. Drawings are held Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m. ET.
