According to Dr. Kinsey, the fundraising efforts are expanded this year as the practice is a community partner with the ALS Association (Lou Gehrig’s disease). ALS claimed the life of Dr. Kinsey’s father last year. Additionally, the event continues to support the Wildflower Clinic, which provides free medical and dental care to needy individuals and families in St. Johns County. Last year, Filling the Gap helped to fund the Clinic with more than $20,000 in donations. Through the annual event and numerous philanthropic activities, Dr. Kinsey contributes to many local non-profits in northeast Florida.
