FL Mass Shooting: 12 Injured, Including 6 Minors, Near University Campus, Police Say
The youngest victim is 11, according to police.

TALLAHASSEE, FL — A mass shooting just steps from the Florida A&M University campus injured at least 12, including six minors, on Saturday night in Tallahassee, according to police.
The shooting occurred just before 8 p.m. near Perry and Manatee streets, next to Bragg Memorial Stadium, Chief Lawrence Revell told reporters at a press conference published in full by WCTV. Earlier that day, the university's homecoming game was held at the stadium against the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.
Authorities believe the shooting is an isolated incident stemming from an altercation between two or three people, according to Revell, but no one was immediately in custody and the investigation was ongoing.

Of the 12 known to be injured, 11 were shot, he said, while one person — the grandmother of another victim — was injured fleeing the scene. The youngest victim is 11, according to Revell. At least three of the victims suffered serious injuries, with one in critical condition, he said.
“No family should have to experience this kind of violence, this kind of fear, this kind of heartbreak,” he said at the press conference.
