A FL woman waved a gun and demanded a free cookie after employees didn't ask her about the McDonald's rewards program, police said.

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, FL — A Florida woman is facing charges after a dispute over a free cookie ended with her waving a loaded gun and assaulting a McDonald's employee, according to authorities.
Amari Bente Hendricks, 24, was taken to Seminole County Jail following the Feb. 16 incident and booked on several charges, including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, improper exhibit of a firearm, battery causing bodily harm, and resisting an officer, according to an arrest affidavit provided by the Altamonte Springs Police Department.
According to the affidavit, an employee told police that Hendricks was angry after no one asked her about the franchise's rewards program. As a result, she demanded that employees give her a free cookie, police said.

During a confrontation in the restaurant's drive-thru, police said a "yelling and irate" Hendricks argued with the employee before a manager eventually gave her a cookie. Hendricks continued arguing with employees before police said she grabbed and loaded a black handgun. Another employee told authorities they saw Hendricks waving the gun around, according to police.
Authorities said Hendricks then parked her car and entered the restaurant as employees attempted to lock the doors. Hendricks then dragged an employee outside where she struck him multiple times, police said.
