FLORIDA — The only thing better than exercising your civic rights by casting your ballot on Election Day is getting rewarded for doing so.

Several restaurants throughout Florida are offering freebies or discounts on Nov. 8 to patrons, who show their "I Voted" stickers or ballot stubs. You can celebrate with free burgers, shakes, cheesecake, pizza and more.

California Pizza Kitchen: Get $5 and a FREE small plate when you sign up for CPK Rewards. Then enjoy accumulating one point for every $1 you spend. Earn a $5 reward when you redeem 75 points at the California Pizza Kitchen near you.

Carl’s Jr.: Join Carl’s Jr. new rewards program and get rewarded with a FREE Western Bacon Cheeseburger, Famous Star or Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich when you spend a minimum of $1.

The Cheesecake Factory: Get in on this special The Cheesecake Factory deal that you can take advantage of until Nov. 10. You can get a complimentary slice of cheesecake when spending $25 or more on a pickup order. To use the deal, just enter LUNCHSLICE at checkout – it’s only available till 3 p.m.

Friendly’s: It’s definitely a rewarding experience completing your civic duty by voting for your local and state representatives. Kona Grill: If you want to let loose for a bit after taking to the polls, head to Kona Grill after 2 p.m. for the epic happy hour menu.
