Bradenton, FL (August 23, 2017) -- Dr. Donald Millner, DDS, MAGD, Assistant Clinical Professor of Restorative Dentistry at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine School (LECOM) School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, FL, has been awarded the 2017 Lifelong Learning & Service Recognition (LLSR) from the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
AGD's Lifetime Learning and Service Award recognizes Dr. Millner’s commitment to lifelong learning, volunteering his services to communities in need, mentoring associates and new dentists, and participating in organized dentistry. The honor has been given to only 304 members of the more than 40,000 AGD dentists.

“It is a great honor to be recognized by the AGD for my accomplishments,” Millner said, “and by being on faculty at LECOM School of Dental Medicine, I get to pass along my knowledge to the next generation of dentists.”
The LLSR is presented only to AGD members who have earned the association’s highest honor of Mastership. Dr. Millner obtained the AGD's Mastership award in 2012. To accomplish the LLSR recognition, Dr. Millner completed at least 1,600 hours of continuing education in 16 different dental disciplines. In addition, recipients must complete at least 100 hours of dental-related community volunteer service.
“AGD is proud to honor Dr. Millner for his commitment to continuing education and dedication to providing his patients with advanced and exceptional oral health care,” said AGD President, Maria Smith, DMD, MAGD. “Dr. Millner has gone above and beyond his duties, distinguishing himself professionally amongst his peers and exemplifying his allegiance to the dental community.”
Dr. Millner graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1978 and for 37 years practiced cosmetic and restorative dentistry in Yardley, PA.
