Some Planters Peanuts Sold At Publix Recalled For Possible Listeria Contamination

Hormel Foods Sales has recalled Planters peanuts sold via Publix stores in Florida for the risk of a potential Listeria contamination.

FLORIDA — Some Planters peanuts distributed in Florida and four other states have been recalled due to possible Listeria contamination, according to a notice released Friday. The recalled nuts were sold at Publix stores in the state.

The Minnesota-based Hormel Foods Sales voluntarily recalled a limited number of these products, which were produced in April.
