• Altamonte Springs funds library through 2027, retires Red Hot & Boom (mynews13.com) — Altamonte Springs has locked in funding to keep its city library operating through Sept. 30, 2027, but ended support for the long-running Red Hot & Boom celebration. City leaders boosted the library budget to $500,000 and will now seek outside groups to propose future operating plans, with the library's fate beyond 2027 still uncertain.
