• Weems offers respite for hospice care (franklincounty.news) — A new hospice suite at Weems Memorial Hospital now offers a more peaceful, home-like setting and reflection garden for end-of-life care close to Apalachicola. Supported by Big Bend Hospice, volunteers, and local donors, the space welcomes hospice patients from the coverage area and gives families a dedicated place to gather, rest, and receive support during difficult times.
