• Fire breaks out at Cairo city manager's home days after reported shooting (walb.com) — Cairo’s city manager, Booker Gainor, had a late-night fire at his home Monday that damaged vehicles and a backyard shed but spared the house, thanks to a quick response from Cairo firefighters. The incident comes days after he reported being shot at while driving a UTV in Grady County, and investigators say there’s currently no indication of political motives.
