• Boca Raton Nonprofit Turns 31,735 Words Into New Wheels for Reading Contest Winner (tapinto.net) — A Boca Raton–based nonprofit, Roots and Wings, just turned a local literacy push into a big win by awarding a new bike and helmet to a Palm Beach Gardens fourth grader who logged 31,735 summer reading words. Headquartered in Boca Raton, the group runs Project UpLift and its BuddyBooks program to fight summer learning loss across Palm Beach County.
