Boca Raton's Lynn University Announces 2026-27 Live at Lynn Season With Over 50 Events (tapinto.net) — Lynn University in Boca Raton has unveiled its 2026–27 Live at Lynn season, bringing more than 50 concerts, theater productions, and special events to the community from September through May. From Philharmonia orchestral programs and student recitals to "Amadeus," "White Christmas," and a new Lynn Pops! gala, residents can already buy tickets and plan nights out close to home.
   

2. North Park Breaks Ground in Boca Raton With Trails, Dog Park and Playground on the Way (bocapost.com) — North Park's 70-acre east side in Boca Teeca is now officially under construction, bringing miles of trails, a dog park, playground, and future skatepark to Boca Raton residents. Local and county officials joined the Greater Boca Raton Beach and Park District for the Sept. 3 groundbreaking, as work ramps up on transforming the former Ocean Breeze golf course into a major community park.
   

3. Motorcyclist killed in crash on SR 7 in Boca Raton, PBSO says (wpbf.com) — A motorcyclist died Friday afternoon after an SUV turned across State Road 7 at E.F. Johns Parkway, just west of Boca Raton, and into his path, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Deputies say the Boca Raton driver of the Chevrolet Equinox was uninjured, and while investigators blame an improper crossing for the crash, the case remains under investigation with no charges yet listed.
   

4. County Commission Declares September Boca Raton Achievement Center Month (bocapost.com) — Palm Beach County commissioners have officially designated September 2026 as Boca Raton Achievement Center Month, spotlighting a local school serving students with autism and related disabilities. The ceremonial proclamation, led by Commissioner Maria Sachs, highlighted the center's employment training success and a family's story of finally finding a school where their child truly belongs, without changing who she is.
   

5. Miss Florida Discusses Home-State Miss America Competition and Advocacy (bocaratontribune.com) — From Boca Raton, Miss Florida Alexandra de Roos is sharing how she's bringing her brain injury advocacy nonprofit, The Blue Project, onto the Miss America stage in West Palm Beach. She talks about competing in her home state, connecting with Floridians, and using a national spotlight to expand education and support for people living with traumatic brain injuries.
