4 Teens Charged In Fatal Shooting On Thanksgiving: Manatee Sheriff
A 15-year-old boy was fatally shot in a gun sale and robbery gone wrong in Bradenton early Thanksgiving morning, the sheriff's office said.
BRADENTON, FL — Four teenage boys face charges related to the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy early Thanksgiving morning, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Three of the teens — including a 13-year-old, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old — were recently arrested and charged with felony murder, the sheriff’s office said.
Though the sheriff’s office has named the suspects, it is Patch's policy not to identify teens in the juvenile court system. It is not clear whether the teens have been charged as juveniles or adults. Patch has reached out to MCSO and will update this story when they respond.

An 18-year-old, Uriel Carrillo, was also charged with accessory to murder after the fact, a second-degree felony.
A deputy heard gunshots while patrolling the 1800 block of 28th Avenue E. around 12:15 a.m. on Thursday.

When he got to the shooting scene, he found evidence in the road and a witness told him that an unidentified man ran from the area, Bradenton police said.
Not long after this, investigators learned that a 15-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound had been dropped off at Manatee Memorial Hospital. He later died from his injuries, police said.
The victim’s identity is being withheld under Marsy’s law.
During their investigation, deputies identified and interviewed the three murder suspects, who were at the scene the night of the shooting, MCSO said.
The 15-year-old victim appears to have been shot in self-defense, though evidence shows the suspects were “engaged in a robbery at the time of a fatal shooting,” the sheriff’s office said.
Detectives learned the juveniles were selling a gun when the robbery and ultimate shooting happened.
The investigation continues.
