Bayshore High Student Arrested With Loaded Gun At School

BRADENTON, FL -- Just days before the end of the school year, a 16-year-old Bayshore High School student has been arrested for bringing a loaded gun to school.

Around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, students at the Bradenton campus alerted staff at the school that a student brought a gun to school.

Deputies located the 10th-grade student and found a loaded handgun in his waistband.

No one was injured.

The student was arrested for possession of a firearm on school grounds, carrying a concealed firearm and possession of a firearm by a juvenile.
