Bradenton Man Guilty Of Meth Distribution: U.S DOJ

A Bradenton man was found guilty of distributing 50 grams of meth or more, the U.S. DOJ said.

BRADENTON — A Bradenton man was found guilty by federal jury of distributing 50 grams or more of methamphetamine, the U.S Department of Justice said in a news release.

Alejandro Marquetti-Blanco faces a minimum penalty of 10 years, up to life, in federal prison. His sentencing date hasn’t been set.

Marquetti-Blanco distributed one pound of methamphetamine to a co-conspirator, according to testimony and evidence presented at trial.

Another co-conspirator later sold the methamphetamine to an undercover Drug Enforcement Administration in Port Charlotte.

This case was investigated by the DEA. It is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Mark Morgan and Benjamin Winter.
