Florida Gators' Treon Harris Suspended After Sexual Assault Claim
He's the second Florida college quarterback suspended this season.

The Florida Gators are going to have to do without their freshman backup quarterback for a while.
Treon Harris has been suspended indefinitely following a sexual assault allegation brought by a female student. The woman told University of Florida Police Harris attacked her Sunday morning in a campus residence hall, according to ESPN.
“We have no tolerance for sexual assault on our campus,” UF President Bernie Machen was quoted by WTXL as saying.

Although a freshman backup, Harris is credited with helping deliver the team’s victory against the Tennessee Volunteers last week. He took over for Jeff Driskel to provide a 10-9 win over the team.
Harris is the second Florida college quarterback suspended this season amid allegations of wrongdoing related to women. Florida State’s Jameis Winston was benched for the team’s game against Clemson after he was accused of making an “offensive and vulgar” statement against women.

Winston is also the focus of a sexual assault complaint that was filed in 2012.
Florida State is the No. 1 ranked school with a 5-0 record in week seven, according to the AP’s Top 25 poll. The University of Florida with its 3-1 record didn’t make the list.
No formal charges have been brought against Harris as of yet, the Miami Herald reports.
