The Fresh Market Sets Grand Opening Date For 3rd Manatee County Store

LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL — The Fresh Market has set the grand opening date of its third and newest store in Manatee County, the company said.

The newest location at 11525 State Road 70 E. in Lakewood Ranch, which formerly housed Earth Fare and Winn Dixie, will open to the public April 24.

The specialty grocer is moving into The Green at Lakewood Ranch shopping plaza, which is also home to the recently opened Tsunami Sushi & Hibachi Grill, Fuego Comida and Tequila, Starbucks and Chipotle.

The grand opening ceremony will take place at 7:45 a.m. with the store opening its doors at 8 .m.

The event will feature Parmigiano Reggiano wheel-cracking, food samples and live music by international concert cellist Steve Kramer.

The first 500 guests at the store will get a free reusable bag, the company said.

Other Manatee County Fresh Market locations are at 6701 Manatee Ave. W. in Bradenton and 5251 University Parkway in University Park.
