Guitar Fest at SCF, Manatee-Sarasota to Draw Musicians from Schools Around Florida

Guitar Fest is back at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF). After a successful debut in 2016 with more than 80 guitarists, Guitar Fest 2017 expands to include a wide variety of music from the past 400 years. The SCF Guitar Ensemble will be joined by talented students and faculty from schools around Florida, including Booker High School, Harrison School for the Arts, Manatee School for the Arts and Riverview High School

Guitar Fest is at 7:30 p.m. March 2 in SCF’s Neel Performing Arts Center. General admission is $8; students and SCF employees, $4. Tickets can be purchased at SCFtickets.com or by calling the box office at 941-752-5252.
