Hit Factory at Suncoast USSSA tourney
Manager Dave Kraft of the 11U Hit Factory team is sold on Suncoast USSSA tournaments. Their team attends USSSA tourneys on a monthly basis. Dave stated the tourneys are very organized with solid competition. The 11U team made the semis at the last tourney. With this being a young team that was veryencouraging.
Dave has been a coach for 45 years and presently coaches his grandson Dave III on the 11U team. Dave says Assistant Coach Mike Patrick does a great job working with the players.
Dave runs the Hit Factory which is located in a converted warehouse in Venice. Teams and players from around the area come to the facility for instruction and workouts.
The 11U Hit Factory roster consists of: M.J. Patrick, Cody Mayes, Jake Patrick, David Kraft, R.J. Cooper, Jayden Gordon Somers, Eriq Masters, Joseph Hannaseck, Bryson Vaughn and Carter Unkel. All the players have put forth a solid effort with good things to come.
The team is back at a USSSA tourney this weekend in Bradenton.
