Man Pleads Guilty To Setting Van On Fire At Bradenton Motel: U.S. DOJ
A Parrish man pleaded guilty to setting a rental van on fire outside a Bradenton motel, the U.S. Department of Justice said.

BRADENTON, FL — A Parrish man pleaded guilty to charges related to setting a rental van on fire outside a Bradenton motel last year, according to a U.S. Department of Justice news release.
Kendarius Devonta Stitten, 26, pleaded guilty to a violation of the federal Anti-Arson Act.
He faces five to 20 years in federal prison.

Stitten used a lighter and a t-shirt to set the van on fire, damaging it, outside the motel on March 20, the DOJ said.

He admitted to federal and state investigators that he had set the van on fire because he thought it belonged to a female acquaintance who failed to show up to a planned meeting at a room at the motel, the DOJ said.
