Self-Serve Frozen Yogurt Brand Gives Away Buy One Get One Free Frozen Yogurt on World Smile Day

BRADENTON, FL (October 1, 2016) - Menchie’s, North America’s largest self-serve frozen yogurt franchise, is kicking off fall with a month long celebration of smiles. During the month of October Menchie’s River Club Plaza, located at 5770 Ranch Lake Blvd. (I-75 & SR70), will celebrate World Smile Day with an in store celebration and continue the celebration all month long with giveaways, new flavors and by encouraging random acts of kindness in their community.

The heart of Menchie’s Month of Smiles celebration this year is their Smile It Forward movement. Similar to Pay It Forward, guests will be encouraged to spread smiles by performing random acts of kindness in their communities. The idea is for guests to do a random act of kindness for someone, then pass a Menchie’s Smile It Forward card and encourage the recipient to do something kind for someone else. Each Menchie’s store will hand out 1,000 Smile it Forward cards ensuring Menchie’s will spread at least 420,000 smiles during the campaign. Guests can share their smiley stories on social media using #spreadingsmiles for a chance to win FREE frozen yogurt for a year and weekly $25 Menchie gift card giveaways.

To kick off Month of Smiles, Menchie’s River Club Plaza will host a party on World Smile Day, October 7th from 4pm-7pm. During this celebration guests are in for a sweet treat with Buy One Get One FREE frozen yogurt, face painting, prizes and a Menchie’s branded World Smile Day Snapchat Geofilter.
