Missing 74-Year-Old Man Found In Brush Near Bradenton Home: Watch
A Manatee County K9 found a missing 74-year-old man in a brushy area near his Bradenton home, police said.

BRADENTON, FL — A 74-year-old man who was missing for about 24 hours was found Monday afternoon in brush near his Bradenton home, authorities said. (Watch a video of his rescue below.)
A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office K9, Cane, a bloodhound, and a deputy handler tracked the scent of the missing man, Roberto Ceballas Ramirez, in a dense, brushy area about a mile from his home, Bradenton police said in a news release.
He was reported missing around 2 p.m. on Sunday, though it’s believed he left home around 12:30 p.m.

Ramirez was dehydrated, but alert when he was found, rescuers said.
He was brought to an awaiting ambulance using a SKED rescue stretcher.

He was chatty once inside the ambulance and requested a rotisserie chicken dinner, his family told officers.
Assets used during the 24-hour-long search for Ramirez included Bradenton officers on foot, ATVs, the Marine Unit, and thermal drone surveillance, as well as MCSO K9 teams and helicopters, and Manatee County Search and Rescue K9 teams, thermal drones, kayaks, and marine personnel.
